When does the season start and end? 
3on3 Hockey Niagara league starts May 25th and ends July 27th. Each team will play 10 Monday night games (10 weeks) 

How much does it cost to play 3on3?
Individual Player $225 + HST
All registrations must be paid in full prior to the start of the season. A team consists of 9 skaters and 1 goalie.

What day will my son/daughter play? 
Niagara is a weekday league with weekly games on Monday nights. Midgets play Full ice.

How can I register?
Register online at our www.3on3hockeyniagara.ca website. Click on the “League Registration” link on the left hand side of the website. Once you have completed the registration, you will receive a registration confirmation via email.
 
When does 3on3 registration close?
Individual and team registrations will remain open until they are filled; first-come, first-served.  Check the "Spaces Left" article for remaining openings.

Do you offer girls only divisions?
Currently we don’t offer a girls division in Niagara. If we get enough girls registered to support a girls division we will create one. In the mean time girls are more than welcome to play with the boys at the same year of birth age group or a division lower.

Can I register a team, if so, how?
Yes you can register a team. If your registering a team for our 3on3 hockey league you will be responsible for 9 skaters and 1 goalie for your team (partial teams also accepted)
You will be given a “team code” to give to your players for the 3on3 league. They will need to enter the team code when they register to ensure they are placed on the your team.

What level is the hockey?
We have all levels of minor hockey for our 3on3 hockey league. 
 
What are the age groups for the divisions?  
The age groups are listed below, Please make sure you enter the correct year of birth to ensure you are placed in the correct division. If you wish to play up a division, make sure you indicate this in the comments box and contact the league to ensure you are placed in a higher division then the year of birth that has been entered.

Can my child play with their friend(s)?
Yes. When you register your child as an individual, on the registration form, please fill in the "Teammate Request” box the names of the friends that your child would like to play with. We will try and make every effort to make sure they are on the same team.

My child has never played 3on3, what are the rules?
The rules for 3on3 hockey can be found on the main page under “Rules”. 3on3 hockey is played on half ice with referees. The referees are very vocal and will assist the players on the ice. Please make sure you review the rules.

Can I coach or assist on the bench?
Yes. Please indicate on your child’s registration form that you are interested in coaching or assisting the team. If you would like to be the head coach, please indicate in the comments section of the registration form that you would like to be the head coach.

Are the divisions / teams rebalanced?
Yes. The convenor after a few games will move teams up or down. This all depends on the record and performance of the teams in the first few weeks of the season starting. Players may be reassigned as last resort to complete the competitive balance.

My child is registered but I haven’t heard from a coach?
Your registration confirmation has confirmed your spot in our 3on3 hockey league. Before the season starts you will be contacted by a coach via email or phone.

What is the refund policy for cancelling my registration?
If you are cancelling your registration prior to the season starting you will receive a full refund less the $25 administration fee. Once the teams have been organized, and the schedules are posted online within two weeks of the season starting you will only receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds once the season has started. Any changes to a registration a $25 administrative fee will apply.
